Dante Silva, was born in Cd. Victoria on August 24, 1978. He completed his Professional Studies at the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas as a Bachelor of Finance. During the years 2003 to 2013, he prepared himself in various Workshops, Seminars and Master Classes, among which the Seminar “Story” by Robert McKee, the Master Class in Film Directing by Jorge Michel Grau stand out. In 2013 Winner for Best Short Film at the Tamaulipas International Film Festival FICTAM 2015 with his short film “For what remains”. In 2015 he obtained the Scholarship from the PECDA Artistic Creation and Development Stimulus Program with “EL SABOR DE LOS KUDILLOS” in which he included in his cast the Winner of the Ariel in 2015 and 2016 for best Male Co-Acting, Noé Hernández. In 2018, he won the 18th IMCINE National Short Film Project Contest with the “La Tierra y La Carne” Project, a project that begins its tour of Festivals in 2020. . He is currently in Post Production of “Un eclánt d’amour incompréhensible” Short film with the performances of María Inés Pintado and Myriam Bravo to be filmed in Tampico/Madero. As well as, in the funding for his first Feature Film with a cast like Noé Hernández (Multi Winner of the ARIEL), Jorge A. Jiménez (Colosio, Narcos, NETFLIX) among others.
